ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

 

 

Dodoma Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (oUWASA) was established under section 3(1) of Cap. 272 of 1997 as repealed by section 60 of Water supply and Sanitation Act No. 12 of 2009. oUWASA is charged with the overall responsibility of operations and management of water supply and sanitation services in Dodoma urban within the Municipality.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, dynamic, experienced and performance driven Tanzanians, to fill in the following carrier opportunities:

ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN - One Post (Mzakwe Station)

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, skills and Abilities):
Holder of Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification with at least three (3) years relevant experience in electrical
maintenance works and good working knowledge of ICT.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
I Carries out maintenance and repairs of electrical plants, machines and equipment.
ii. Advises on the selection of electrical equipment according to technical feasibility and service required.
iii. Investigates causes of technical faults of the plants and recommends preventive measures.
iv. Proposes rules regulations and procedures of installing electrical equipment and ensures'that they are adhered to by all staff concerned. .
v.Advises on the electrical implications of new projects to be undertaken by the Authority.
vi. Performing any other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor
