ASSISTANT MANAGER MICRO-FINANCE PROGRAM

For two years now, TATU Project has been working with a women group within a solid structure. They have made their own financial contributions up until now and shown good entrepreneurial skills. As their capital is limited but will and vision demonstrated, TATU Project has decided to develop an economic empowerment program that would provide them with more capital and knowledge in order to accelerate the group's financial and business growth.
This program has started in January 2015. For now business trainings have started following a very advanced curriculum and women have started formulating business ideas.

Job position: Assistant Project Manager

The position will involve supporting the project Manager in the following activities:
- accompanying the group in its different business development initiatives
- coordinate, prepare and supervise trainings and monitor closely in order to make the adjustments needed
- Continuing the structuring of their micro-financial institution and accompanying the women in their first analysis of business proposals as well as loans given out. Close monitoring and evaluation will be necessary as well as identifying trainings and/or structural changes to be made.
- Help the women with their financial planning and management of their new micro-finance structure
Objectives would be to support setting up successful businesses with financial returns as much as social values and help secure a high rate of loan paybacks through a well defined micro-finance structure. From the first pilot ventures, the program will require extensive monitoring and evaluation to plan the futures steps.
